Our journey with Ashland-Greenwood began in 2016 when we were introduced to the client at the Nebraska Library Conference. Following this initial encounter, our Education Solutions Specialist, Ken Sigmon, reconnected with the district in 2017, paving the way for our first project: the Business Studies & Student Yearbook Club classroom at the High School. Subsequently, we undertook a few smaller projects before DLR Group, our esteemed partner, brought us into the new school additions projects.
Under the leadership of DLR Group, we embarked on the task of furnishing the new Middle School. Having previously collaborated on the Ashland-Greenwood Primary Elementary building, our partnership with DLR Group was already well-established. In March 2023, we commenced work on the Middle School project, meticulously reviewing the specified products and collaborating closely with DLR Group to ensure alignment with the school’s vision. By June 2023, the order was finalized, marking a significant milestone in the project timeline. The new state-of-the-art school includes a competition gymnasium, secure entrance with administration offices, vocal and band rooms, commons areas, and classrooms with multiple flex and STEM spaces.
The installation process commenced in December 2023, with our team working diligently to ensure that every aspect of the project was executed flawlessly. Once installation concluded, we provided the staff with training on how to get the most out of their classroom furniture and leverage the sutdents when rapidly reconfiguring the space. As classes commenced in January 2024, students and faculty were welcomed into a thoughtfully designed and furnished learning environment, fostering creativity, collaboration, and engagement.

Through collaboration, attention to detail, and a dedication to excellence, we have successfully contributed to the creation of inspiring learning environments that empower students and educators alike.
