About the Project:

Sheppard’s Business Interiors was thrilled to partner with H&M Trucking and The Modern Hive to bring their new office vision to life. This collaboration began with a unique connection: one of H&M’s executives, a friend of The Modern Hive’s founder, introduced us to the project. SBI had previously supported The Modern Hive’s design efforts for residential offices, and our relationship quickly grew as we began work on H&M’s corporate headquarters.

H&M Trucking sought a workspace that captured a modern yet rustic aesthetic, drawing inspiration from a “mountainy” look to create a welcoming and open environment. The floor plan was carefully crafted to foster openness and connectivity, with minimal walls to support a collaborative atmosphere. Strategic privacy was maintained for HR and Finance departments, while the CEO, James, positioned his office at the center of the layout to remain accessible and engage casually with the team.

SBI worked closely with The Modern Hive’s design team, initially liaising with Allison, then Courtney, as each navigated their maternity leaves. This seamless collaboration ensured that the design vision was faithfully executed. SBI provided product specifications and samples to align with The Modern Hive’s concept, helping H&M finalize selections that balanced design, functionality, and budget. We also partnered with Swift Construction to coordinate electrical placements, ensuring convenient power access throughout the open space.

The final result is a stunning office that embodies H&M Trucking’s brand and culture, with a layout that promotes interaction, comfort, and functionality. The trust and openness from H&M, paired with the strong synergy between SBI and The Modern Hive, allowed us to achieve a workspace that exceeded expectations. This project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, delivering a uniquely designed environment that H&M Trucking is proud to call home.
