Plumbers Local Union 16 partnered with SBI to create a new, multi-purpose facility designed to support staff, members, and training programs. The project includes administrative offices, classrooms, meeting spaces, breakrooms, and outdoor patio areas, all designed to foster collaboration, learning, and day-to-day operations. Originally started in 2021 and completed in Fall 2025, the project evolved from an initial building plan to the former Anthony’s Steakhouse location, requiring flexibility and close coordination throughout the process.

SBI provided durable, timeless, and budget-conscious furniture solutions tailored to the needs of a high-use union environment. Selections included Steelcase Currency workstations, Campfire lounge seating, Series 2 task chairs, Groupwork tables, SitOnIt seating, Smith System classroom furniture, and Tenor stacking chairs. SBI also supported move services, helping relocate files, equipment, and materials into the new facility to ensure a smooth transition.

The finished space delivers a welcoming and functional environment that supports training, collaboration, and member engagement. In partnership with DLR Group, SBI helped create a facility that is both practical and long-lasting, reflecting the union’s commitment to its people and future growth.
