Our History
Sheppard’s Business Interiors is locally owned and has been in business for more than 50 years. SBI opened for business in 1955 in downtown Omaha with eight employees. Our company grew and incorporated in 1970. As Omaha developed west and SBI continued to grow, we moved to a larger facility located at 42nd & Dodge Streets in 1977. In 1985, at a time when SBI employees numbered 45, we relocated to our current location at 725 South 72nd Street, to accommodate the continued growth of the business and to recognize the further westward development of commercial business in Omaha. Also in 1985, SBI opened a location in Lincoln to better serve the Lincoln marketplace. Currently SBI has approximately 70 employees.

We will assist you from the beginning planning phase to the final installation. At SBI, we strive to be workplace consultants. We do so by assessing your current workplace situation, listening to your goals, needs and wishes for your future, and using our vast resources to recommend the smartest possible solution for you. We serve clients in the Metro area and across the country through our extensive network affiliations.

We are a full-service dealership offering our clients space planning, asset management, moving/relocating services, refurbishing, furniture installation, cleaning, and maintenance.
